We are now looking for a temporary laboratory technician for our laboratory in Kaunisvaara.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine analyses including reception, sample preparation, analysis, and reporting.
• The workplace must be cleaned and kept tidy and organized throughout the work shift. A clean working environment is a fundamental prerequisite for the operations we conduct and is crucial for safety, quality, and a professional working method.
• Participate in analytical activities using instruments such as XRF, Leco, Malvern, ABA, Davids Tube, etc.
• Other tasks such as contributing to the development of the workplace and work environment, cleaning the workplace at the end of work tasks, etc. are also included.

The work must be performed safely and efficiently from a work environment, cost, and maintenance perspective.

Education and Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a high school diploma or equivalent qualifications with experience from similar operations. You must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in Swedish. A B driver's license is also required. Experience in laboratory operations is an advantage.

Before the temporary position begins, an introductory training will be conducted with all temporary staff. The length of the introduction varies depending on the previous experience you have in the field.

Employment Conditions

Temporary position during the absence of regular staff. Individual salary setting according to collective agreements with Unionen, Ledarna, and Sveriges Ingenjörer.
